Cherie Buck-Hutchison manipulates transparent layers to consider the metaphoric landscape. Her superimpositions include a range of realizations in diaphanous forms, including photography, video, performance, objects and ceramics.
Buck-Hutchison has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Intermedia from the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University. She was the recipient of the All American Scholarship in 2010. She was named one of the top 100 Creatives in Phoenix, Arizona in 2016 by The New Times. She was a recent recipient of the TLC Community Foundation Grant. Her work has been shown at The Shemer Art Center and Museum, eye lounge Gallery, Scottsdale Appaloosa Library, Brownsville Museum of Fine Art, Royse Contemporary Gallery and the Providence Art Club.
